Great friendly place, range of choices at the salad bar, refill drinks option. Good choice of food. Good place to take the family.
The food is greatly improved. Stopped going because there was never much salad etc. Went for my birthday and really enjoyed it. All the salad was topped up regularly, and the meal was lovely. Will be our regular go to restaurant again.
This place has really improved recently. There seems to be a new menu here, it's quite a lot simpler than the old harvester menu and what came out to us was good quality. I've always found the dog to have really slow service, but something has changed. It was attentive and speedy, perfect for taking a bored toddler who looses interest in places quickly and wants to go home in a hurry! Other parents seemed to agree as there were lots of babies, toddlers and bigger kids enjoying themselves. Would go again
Nice surroundings, staff are friendly and food is nice. If attending in a large party, the round tables get a bit of a nuisance when people want to get out as everyone has to move to let them out.Free salad bar is a great idea and the salad selection was fresh and varied. I love the wide range of sauces available and love the bourbon sauce.
Had lunch here today. I usually have simply chicken and salad but thought for a change I'd have cod and chips. I don't usually leave comments. In the past I've been a bit disappointed at times but today I was very impressed with the restaurant itself, since the refurbishment plus the service. When the food came out I was very pleasantly surprised. The cod was massive and very chunky with the lightest crispiest batter and the chips were cooked perfectly. I gave this restaurant 5 stars because it's deserved. Well done to the chef and well done serving staff. I'll recommend you to friends.
